
Ken Olisa
Ken Olisa is Chairman and Founder of Restoration Partners and is a 40-year veteran of the IT industry. After graduating from Cambridge he began his IT career working at IBM (UK) and Wang Laboratories. He founded Interregnum plc, a technology merchant bank, in 1992 which floated in 2000.
Ken is a Non-Executive Director of Thomson Reuters, Chairman of Thebes Group, Non-Executive Chairman of Outsourcery plc, Chairman of Independent Audit and Chairman of the British Basketball Association. He is also Vice President of BCS, the Chartered Institute of IT where he chairs the Policy & Public Affairs Board. Additionally Ken is Chairman of BCS Learning & Development Ltd and he recently joined the board of The Institute of Directors as a Non-Executive Director in April 2013.
He is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists Livery Company and Chairman of the Powerlist Foundation (and named in the UK’s Top 10 most influential black people in 2010 and 2011). He is a past winner of BVCA/Real Deals Private Equity Personality of the Year Award.
Ken is Chairman of Thames Reach, a charity working to shelter and resettle the homeless in London. Ken was awarded his OBE in 2010 for his work with Thames Reach.
